While slates running on the Android mobile platform have been flocking into the market one after the other, the freshly disclosed Netbook Navigator Nav 10T tablet stands apart from them with its Windows 7 OS. The gadget is one of the few that arrive powered by the Microsoft platform.

Dressed in shades of black and silver, this compact device is fueled by a 1.66GHz dual core Intel Atom N570 processor. It boasts of a 10.1-inch, 1366 x 768p capacitive multi-touch LCD touchscreen display and is capable of lending support to a variety of connectivity alternatives such as Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 and Huawei 3G Broadband, the last mentioned of which is optional.

Liliputing picked up on this slab that offers users 16GB of internal storage space and packs in 2GB of DDR3 memory. It comes embedded with a slot for a SIM card, one for a microSD card and two USB 2.0 ports. The Netbook Navigator Nav 10T price is tagged at $500 and it can now be ordered online at netbooknavigator.com. Buyers would have to pay an extra sum of $100, $250 or $500, if they wish to purchase additional 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of hard drive space, respectively.
