It seems like the Motorola Yuva portfolio in India is just getting stronger. The global leader in wireless communications, Motorola recently introduced a torrent of stylish and affordable mobile phones for the Indian audience- MOTOYUVA W388, MOTOYUVA A810, and MOTOYUVA ZN200.

Offering a wide range of form factors to the aspirational Indian consumers, Motorola plans to play a significant role in the country’s booming mobile sector. Their latest players come with some innovative multimedia, photo and messaging capabilities.

“Our YUVA range of mobile phones offers Indian consumers a diverse range of affordable options. The YUVA W388 is a multimedia candybar phone, YUVA A810 is a touch screen phone, and the YUVA ZN200 is a slider imaging phone. There’s a YUVA phone to suit everyone’s style this festive season,” reveals a very excited Lloyd Mathias, senior director and head of Sales and Distribution, India and South West Asia, Motorola Mobile Devices.

An intact multimedia device, the MOTOYUVA W388 comes with a dedicated music button, an enhanced MP3 player, MusicID application for song recognition, and an FM radio with radio data system (RDS) functionality that displays name of the artist and song along with the type of music playing on the radio and Microsoft Windows Media Player for effortless transfer of music from PC. The exciting phone also assures you privacy with an option to block unwanted callers.

Packed with a simple keyboard for easy messaging, the YUVA W388 incorporates innovative functions that let users record excerpts of songs from the FM radio, set an FM alarm and listen to music via earphones or speaker phone.

Other key features of the phone are Motorola’s pioneering CrystalTalk technology for better voice clarity on calls through noise cancellation, a 750 SMS and 1,000 phone book entries storage capacity, optional microSD memory card up to 2GB, an integrated VGA camera supporting 4x zoom and Java capabilities for easy download of Java games

If you love stylish phones but don’t want to burn a hole in your pocket, then the MOTOYUVA A810 is sure to appeal you. Available in two colours, the MOTOYUVA A810 is a chic touch screen phone that sports easy menu navigation, user editable shortcuts on the home screen, advanced handwriting recognition, copy-paste for messages and numbers, a large screen for easy browsing and email. You can also exhibit your artistic streak by sketching, drawing and doodling on the mobile phone.

The device boasts of some exciting applications for cricket lovers with features like cricket text commentary, cricket masala news, wallpapers and cricket video downloads along with 3 exciting cricket games. You can enjoy instant updates via the ‘Daily News’ while on the go with access to the WAP version of printed publications like Hindustan Times, Financial Express, Indian Express, and Deccan Chronicle. MOTOYUVA ZN200
The MOTOYUVA ZN200 is the newest entrant in Motorola’s family of media-optimized handsets. Targeted at those who love being entertained, the ZN200 is a sleek and fashionable mobile that offers some best-in-class audio quality so you can hear and be heard. A very user friendly phone, the device boasts of a series of status LED icons that light up to give users a quick visual reference of the status of missed calls, new messages, and Bluetooth activity.

Incorporated with a 1.9″ display screen, the MOTOYUVA ZN200 is additionally packed with a 2 megapixel camera, Motorola’s signature CrystalTalk technology and 2GB external memory, along with 30MB internal memory.

All three phones are attributed by access to MOTOMUSIC, a combined Web and WAP service that lets you download full songs, ringtones, music video clips and wallpapers. A MOTOMUSIC scratch card inbox with 10 free ringtone downloads comes with this entire range.

These novel and stirring phones should hit MOTOSTORE, MOTOSTORE Lite and other retail outlets from October 2008 onwards. While the MOTOYUVA A810 and the MOTOYUVA ZN200 are expected to sell at a price of Rs 8,119 and Rs 6,719 respectively, the MOTOYUVA W388 is priced at a mere Rs 3,640.
