Motorola Moto X Force surfaces on Amazon ahead of unveiling

The Motorola Moto X Force was accidently listed online on e-commerce site Amazon India a few days before its February 1 launch date. The page for the device has been taken down as of now.

Sadly, the early appearance of the Motorola Moto X Force on Amazon did not give away its price or availability details. However, it does indicate the brand may be planning to do away with tradition and break out of the Flipkart-exclusive system it’s been following for its new releases.

The leak could either mean Motorola will make the phone available only via Amazon or the firm is planning to sell it through multiple outlets immediately after its unveiling. To recap, the Lenovo-owned manufacturer had begun vending its products outside Flipkart back in September 2015, venturing to offline and online outlets alike.

Notably, the company began retailing the Moto 360 (2nd Gen) on Amazon only a month after it had launched the smartwatch. The brand has been aggressively promoting the shatterproof display of the Moto X Force via its local Twitter account for quite some time now. The teasers compare the smartphone to other premium products like the Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6.
