Motorola has slipped the covers off its Moto X Style for India and will be up for pre-order through Flipkart starting from October 14 onward. The smartphone is priced slightly higher than expected, at Rs 29999 for its 16GB version and Rs 31999 for its 32GB model. But it’s got decent enough features to match the cost. What’s more, the company is pairing it with several tempting offers.
The Motorola Moto X Style sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD touchscreen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It gets its steam from 3GB of RAM and a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Android Lollipop runs the show for now, with an update to Marshmallow incoming. The handset is 4G capable and embeds two slots for nano SIM cards.
A pretty neat 21MP camera with flash, f/2.0 aperture and support for 4K video at 30fps, lends the Moto X Style its photography capabilities. The front-facing shooter is of 5MP resolution and comes paired with flash too. Motorola will only be shipping the handset in its 16GB and 32GB capacities in India for now. But the memory is expandable by another 128GB.
The 3000mAh battery juicing up this latest Moto phone is compatible with TurboPower which enables 8 hours usage after 15 minutes of charging it. To celebrate the launch of the device, Motorola will be giving away 100 of these handsets for free to lucky customers. Buyers who use MakeMyTrip will receive Rs 5000 off on international holidays.
