Moto X Style to be launched in India on Oct 8

Although Motorola devices are not exclusive to Flipkart anymore, the Moto X Style will be made available in India only through the online retailer. Its launch date is set for October 8 this week, but its price details are yet to be announced. The phone is out in memory capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. It’s not clear if all three variants will be hitting these shores.

In the US, the unlocked 16GB version of the Moto X Style which goes by the moniker ‘Moto X Pure Edition,’ costs $400. So the 16GB capacity’s likely to be nailed at almost Rs 26000. The front of the Motorola smartphone is taken up by a 2K resolution screen measuring 5.7 inches.

The Moto X Style runs on Android Lollipop, though an update to Marshmallow has been promised already. Sitting above the display is a 5MP wide angle lens. Complementing its photography capabilities is an impressive 21MP camera equipped with Color Correlated Temperature flash with dual LEDs, on the back panel.

A hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor clocked at 1.8GHz powers this Moto X handset along with 3GB of RAM. Although the internal hoarding space maxes out at 64GB, there is a microSD card slot for adding up to 128GB of extra memory.
