The all new Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161 is here from the India-based manufacturer known for launching budget-friendly offerings. It carries a price of Rs 13999 and is available through online retailer Snapdeal. The company will be following up this release with the Canvas Laptab LT777 on October 13. Playing successor to the Canvas Laptab LT666, this convertible notebook will hit Amazon India for Rs 17999.
Starting with the Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161, it has a 11.6-inch IPS screen of 1366 x 768p resolution with multi-touch support. It is powered by Intel’s 1.33GHz quad core Atom Z3735F processor and 2GB of RAM. It runs on Microsoft Windows 10 and offers 32GB of memory, further expandable by 64GB via the in-built microSD card slot. Seeing as it weighs just about 1.3kg, the laptop should be easy enough to port around.
Micromax promises that the 5000mAh battery under the hood can deliver up to 11 hours of average use. Other components worth mentioning are the integrated HDMI port, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 802.11 support, Bluetooth, headphone jack, two USB 2.0 ports and VGA quality webcam. The Canvas Laptab LT777 features the same Intel chipset, RAM and storage options, apart from leaning on the Windows 10 OS.
It has 2MP fixed focus cameras on its rear and front panels. A comparatively larger battery of 9000mAh keeps it going for 8 to 10 hours between charges. In addition to a port each for HDMI, USB 2.0 and micro USB, the Micromax Canvas laptop has Wi-Fi, 3G (via SIM card slot) and Bluetooth connectivity. It tips the scales at 1.5kg and flaunts a 11.6-inch 1280 x 800p IPS touch display.
