Ever craved to chit-chat with friends on Facebook with some peppy music playing behind? If yes, then be happy as a clam at high tide as a reason to crack that grin steps in. Well, MSDC Development has recently revealed its all-new free iPhone app, ‘MiJay’. Innovatively designed, the new social networking app allows users to connect with friends through the music on their phones. Users can now happily view and compare music and playlists in real time.

The app lets users witness the live view of what’s playing on their friends’ iPhone, see their friends’ music, albums, artists, genres and songs. Users can now view their friends’ listening history, compare their iPod to their friends’ iPods, invite new friends using Facebook connect, and download new music.

“Think of it as Facebook for your music,” remarked Dustin Clark, Developer of MSDC Development, whose team created the app over the last six months. “No other mobile application integrates the social aspects of music. It seemed logical to us to introduce an app that addresses the desire to connect through music, while tapping into the power of iTunes, one of the main features of the iPhone.”

The MiJay also helps in posting the listening history to the Facebook page and preview songs from within the app. Future releases will come integrated with entrancing features such as location integration, celebrity users, links to YouTube videos, iTunes, Billboard and last.fm charts, and MiJap playlists.

MiJay app works on any iPhone or iPod Touch running OS 3.0 or greater. The app can now be snapped up for free from the Apple App Store.
