Micromax’s first FHD smartphone, Canvas Turbo A250 launched in India today

Starting this weekend, Micromax’s first full HD handset called Canvas Turbo A250 will go up for sale in India and the company is asking for Rs 19,990 in exchange of the device. The phone that builds up on the success of the Canvas 4 runs Android and comes equipped with a quad core processor too. It seems like the perfect competitor of devices like the Pinnacle FHD and Aqua i7.

Like its siblings the Canvas 4 and the Doodle 2, it employs a quad core processor to ensure support to demanding applications and games and even brings 2GB of RAM for good measure. The Micromax device offers a multi-touch real estate of 5 inches and the 1920 x 1080p display boasts of IPS and CGS technologies. It is encased in an aluminum chassis that is either painted pristine white or midnight blue.

Click-happy users will be glad to know that Micromax has been pretty generous with the cameras. Its rear snapper has a 13MP lens along with a flash and auto focus, while the front panel hosts a 5MP shooter for video conferencing purposes. Applications like Cinemagraph, object eraser, Camerazzi and more have been pre-loaded for ensuring better pictures.

Powered by the Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1 OS, this smartphone offers 16GB of onboard memory and a 2000mAh battery tags along for talk time of around 7 hours. Games and apps like The Darkman, Fruit Devil, Jelly Jumper, BBM, Opera Mini, Spuul and Kingsoft Office to name a few can be found installed on this gadget.

The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 will hit store shelves in India on October 26.
