Micromax Funbook Mini P410 gets listed online, expect an official unveiling soon

After launching its first tablet in the Canvas series, Micromax is back with another offering for its Funbook lineup, the Mini P410. Like every other device in the series, this one also runs Android, it falls in the 7-inch segment and has voice calling amongst others.

Like with the majority of new device, the company hasn’t officially announced the Funbook Mini P410, instead it was spotted at online retailer Infibeam. Having a sub-Rs 9,000 price tag, the device isn’t of the impressive type and based on the specifications sheet, it looks like Micromax is going after Samsung’s latest Galaxy tab lineup and the FonePad from Asus. The device is equipped with dual SIM card trays, one supporting 3G connectivity and the other 2G.

The Funbook Mini P410 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which is quite old and the likelihood of it getting updated to a newer version isn’t high. And while most budget-friendly offerings come with quad core processors, Micromax has settled for a dual core CPU here clocked at just 1GHz. The good part is you get a decent amount of RAM, an entire gigabyte. There’s 4GB of storage and a microSD card slot as well.

The touchscreen proffers visuals in 1024 x 600p resolution and is accompanied by a VGA webcam, while the rear plays host to a 2MP camera. The tablet also has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a 2800mAh battery that can deliver 4 hours of web browsing.

If you’re interested in the Funbook Mini P410, you can pick it up for Rs 8,820 through Infibeam or Rs 8,999 via Naaptol. The tablet is only available in white.
