We are hardly surprised to see the HTC One mini on sale in India considering that the device was already listed on the official company website and it was just a matter of time before e-retailers put it up on sale. And as for the Desire 500, it went up for pre-order only recently and is already out of stock through a retailer in the country.
The HTC One mini is the compact version of the flagship One and shows off a 4.3-inch 720p HD touchscreen of 341ppi. Based on the Android platform accompanied by the Sense UI, the device acquires multitasking properties from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor sprinting at a speed if 1.4GHz. 1GB of DDR2 RAM is also present within the confines of the gadget.
Furthermore, the smartphone compatible with a micro SIM card features 16GB of onboard memory and most of the essential sensors. An UltraPixel primary camera as well as a 1.6MP webcam for video conferencing purposes have also been tossed into the mix. And as a 1800mAh lithium-polymer battery hides under the hood, prospective customers can expect talk time of over 13 hours.
As for the Desire 500, this dual SIM device offers a multi-touch real estate of 4.3 inches and delivers visuals in 480 x 800p resolution. Its specifications list also features an 8MP camera, a 1.6MP webcam, a quad core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of onboard memory expandable up to 64GB.
The HTC One mini and the Desire 500 have been priced at Rs 37,299 and Rs 21,490, respectively. They are available through e-retailers like Snapdeal and Flipkart.
