A week after their existence was leaked online, the Micromax Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+ have been officially announced by the company. The former is now available for Rs 8999 (around Rs 2000 lower on certain sites as of 24 Nov, 2015) and the latter is set to hit markets by the end of September.
Both the Micromax Canvas Juice 3 and Canvas Juice 3+ will be available via offline and online retail outlets. They have similar features in terms of specs. The main differences lie in their size and internal storage. The cheaper variant has a 5-inch 720p screen and 8GB of ROM, while its counterpart has a 5.5-inch 720p display and 16GB of ROM.
Another factor distinguishing them is their front-facing camera. The Juice 3 carries a 2MP lens and the 3+ possesses a 5MP one. Moving on to their common specifications, the handsets are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor in conjunction with 2GB of RAM. They have been equipped with a microSD card slot to expand their memory capacity up to 32GB.
An 8MP autofocus snapper with LED flash rests on the rear surface of the Micromax phones. The highlight of both smartphones is their 4000mAh battery. The Juice 3 promises to deliver a maximum of 14 hours of talk time and 514 hours of standby time, whereas the 3+ can offer up 12 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time.
