According to Phonescoop, recently Samsung’s R560 Vice was spotted on the company’s website sporting a MetroPCS logo. This sparked rumors that the phone is going to be picked by MetroPCS. The name ‘Messager’ appeared below the phone.
Another phone which the R560 resembles, the R450 Messager, is already available through MetroPCS. Furthermore, the R560 phone is loaded with tri-band CDMA and EVDO data support which adds evidence to the rumor that this handset is going to be carried by MetroPCS.
The R560 has already been released in Canada under the name Samsung Vice from Bell Mobility and has received approval from the FCC.
This phone slides open sideways and packs in a full QWERTY keyboard for messaging as well as a regular numeric keypad on the front. It also has Bluetooth for easy file transfers and a 2 MP camera for taking clear pictures.
