Recently, Kensington unveiled its Nightstand Charging Dock for the iPhone. Unlike a conventional charger, the charging dock facilitates users to download an application which transforms the iPhone or iPod Touch into a bedside clock and weather center.
The device is compatible with several other Apple devices. The charging dock grips the iPhone in landscape mode by means of a kickstand that clearly displays the time and weather.
It features a large, landscape display that doesn’t enter into the sleep mode, and offers optional screen dimming capability. The small footprint helps minimize nightstand clutter. Users can download Rise & Shine Clock & Weather application from the Apple App store.
