The freshly announced Mercury mTab Neo2 has gone to India with support for 3G connectivity as well as voice calling. It currently operates on the Gingerbread platform, but will be upgradeable to ICS within the next four weeks, as revealed by Kobian.

The front panel of this Mercury entrant is graced by a 7-inch capacitive screen that lends support to HD and 1600K color. It also features front and rear facing dual snappers which facilitate video recording and chatting. The slate offers 8GB user memory that can also be expanded via a 32GB microSD card.

Notably, the battery life delivered by the slab approximates to 6 hours. All the aforementioned attributes are powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 dual-core processor to enable multitasking. Additionally, the slate delivers an HDMI 1080p video output and Flash 10.3, adding to the entertainment options for users. Other connectivity facilities like Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth are also dropped into the specs sheet.
