Yet another Evo, the Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE is hitting the network operator sometime before Q3 2012 begins. But we won’t be able to nail down its exact launch date since neither company was very forthcoming on this front.

Feasting on the Ice Cream Sandwich OS, the handset’s front panel supports a 4.7-inch HD display. There’s also the HTC Sense 4.0 interface melded with the Android mobile OS for smoothing out the user experience on this piece of hardware. Other than the HD Voice capability offered by the phone, it also transfixes a kickstand on its rear panel for hands-free viewing of content.

“Sprint has a long history of leading the wireless industry in innovation, and the debut of HTC Evo 4G LTE marks another chapter in that innovation story. Once again, we are partnering with HTC to deliver the benchmark Android device for the year with the next generation of our award-winning Evo brand. We know our customers will appreciate the focus on audio and voice quality with Evo 4G LTE, including the addition of Beats Audio and HD Voice capability,” remarked Sprint CEO Dan Hesse.

This fresh entrant into the HTC Evo family boasts of an anodized black finish over its sleek aluminum body. Featuring HTC ImageSense technology, there are dual snappers on either side, one of 8MP and the other of 1.3MP resolutions, respectively. The smartphone gets its juice from a 2000mAh battery and a 1.5GHz dual core processor, as per the specs sheet.

According to the Sprint HTC Evo 4G LTE release date and price details, it will hit store shelves by Q2 2012 and set users back by $199.99.
