Soon after T-Mobile UK announced the upcoming availability of the HTC One X, Rogers is all set to bring it into Canada along with the Nokia Lumia 900. Stories going around about a month ago suggested the release of the latter in the said country, but only recently did it get official.
In case of the HTC One X, the handset has a 4.7-inch screen proffering 1280 × 720p resolutions. Raking in the goodness of Ice Cream Sandwich, it features the HTC Sense 4 interface. Also making it to the specs list is 1GB RAM and 32GB memory capacity. Network connectivity covering GSM, GPRS and EDGE can be readily accessed with the device. Operating on the LTE network, it uses a 1.5GHz dual core processor. For photography purposes, an 8MP camera peeps out from the rear panel, while a front-facing 1.3MP sensor looks after video conferencing.
As for the Nokia Lumia 900, it sports a sleek unibody construction, while showing off a 4.3-inch AMOLED ClearBlack touchscreen. The 8MP camera sitting on the flip side arrives with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. And a front-facing 1MP sensor for video calling stays in place on the front bezel. This Windows Phone handset functions on a 1.4GHz processor. About 16GB internal memory is offered to users along with SkyDrive cloud storage.
The Rogers Nokia Lumia 900 and HTC One X can be pre-ordered for prices of $99.99 and $169.99, respectively. These will be accompanied by a range of data plans.
