Locate TV fans would be quite thrilled with this news. Locate TV is releasing an application on the iPhone that will allow iPhone users to now log on to LocateTV.com.
With this application, users will have full access to the ‘now and next’ TV schedule. Complete customizable TV listings would be available. To facilitate online viewing, required links can be provided.
Brian Margolis, LocateTV’s Director of Business Development, commented, “We are constantly looking for ways to enrich the TV viewing experience and as the mobile phone is fast become the ‘third screen’ in and outside of the home, creating an iPhone application was the next logical step. We have worked hard to meet the needs of today’s on-the-go multiplatform viewer, but as technology and demands are evolving we are developing new functionality to meet those challenges – both online and on the iPhone application.”
Users can even get information on DVD availability and can also compare their costs. Regardless of where they are, this new LocateTV application can get the user in contact with their preferred shows and TV celebrities. To use this application, the iPhone needs to run OS 3.1 or a superior version than that.
The LocateTV application is available for free at the Apple App store or can be downloaded at itunes.apple.com.
