Samsung A885 Advance to hit the Canadian market by Telus

Samsung A885 AdvanceSamsung mobile loyalists in Canada have a treat stored in for them. That’s right! Samsung A885 Advance is geared up for release in Canada by means of Telus, reports MobileSyrup.

The specifications of this HSPA touchscreen device are now available through the Samsung Canada website. Apparently, Advance operates on Samsung’s OS and comes with a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display having a resolution of 240 x 400. For camera enthusiasts, the device includes a 2.0 megapixel camera with digital zoom, auto-focus and video facilities.

Supposedly, the handset encompasses IM, MP3 player and AGPS. The mobile phone is claimed to hold up to 16GB on a micro SDHC card along with 72MB internal memory. Samsung Advance includes full HTML Browser. The device comprises of a 1000mAh battery and has a talktime of 5 hours and standby time of 350 hours.

Reportedly, the phone comes with GSM and HSDPA connectivity. GPS Navigation along with social networking apps is also available with the device. To enable effortless texting, the handset comes with a QWERTY keyboard.

The cost of the Samsung A885 Advance is currently unknown.
