LinkedIn for Android and iOS has just been updated to render a more convenient and quick social networking experience. In terms of other platforms, we saw the application go live for the Windows Phone OS back in May.

Talking about the update in question, the utility now tags along notifications which means users can be alerted when people like their shared ideas, take a peek into their profiles, accept their invitations and so on. Company pages has come knocking for mobile users and that implies most essential data covering job openings, news and other relevant information pertaining to the corresponding organization can be perused with ease.

“Today is an anniversary of sorts. 1 year, 21 days ago we launched an entirely new LinkedIn mobile experience for iPhone, Android, and the mobile web at touch.linkedin.com. It was an entirely fresh start, focused on faster, simpler, better,” states a post on the official LinkedIn blog.
