Those eagerly awaiting the release of the iPhone 5 are likely to be treated to new iPod touch devices, a different iPod nano and a redesigned iPod shuffle as well. It seems that tech buffs could have a lot to consider in terms of Apple products, at the event scheduled for September 12.

Coming in first is a new iPod shuffle that could be priced around $49 and it is anticipated to arrive drenched in 8 shades. As for the reworked iPod nano, it is also expected to be unveiled tomorrow, though there’s no official confirmation. It is speculated to have a rethought codename that points to some internal and design tweaks. This variant of the nano may just be taller as compared to the present version and support Wi-Fi as well. It is slated to arrive in 8 color choices, though the price and other detailed specifications are under wraps at present.

As per 9to5Mac, the fresh iPod touch lineup to be designed by Apple may carry one entry-level gadget and 2 higher-priced models. The former is conjectured to be a tweaked version of the present generation device. According to the report, the enhancements may be seen in the form of a smaller dock connector, increase in base storage capacity or iOS 6. The 2 redesigned touches are apparently set to tag along $299 and $399 prices. However, the memory capacity of either build is not clear for now.

With the Apple iPhone 5 launch looming, fans can probably get ready for a double treat in the form of the new iPod nano, iPod touches and refreshed iPod shuffle.
