A certain Tegra 2-powered phone has managed some rather slippery appearances now and again. The LG Star has been flaunting its iPhone 4-like body in a new and unofficial video grabbed by GSM Israel as reported by Engadget.

According to the website, this elusive smartphone runs the 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor. The phone seems to have been running Android 2.2, though this specification is expected to stick just for the testing phase, with the final version running Android 2.3 or Gingerbread.

The handset appears to offer support for full HD 1080p encoding thanks to the Tegra 2 processor. There’s an 8MP camera on the back panel and what is reported to be front facing camera for video calls and so on.

According to what we gleaned from the report, the construct is plastic and metal, while the back panel of the phone has the Google logo on it. There’s no clear word on when this speedy little device will actually hit the market or the likely price tag.
