Unveiled last month, the LG Nitro HD is now available through AT&T. This smartphone operates on the Android 2.3.5 OS and comes embedded with a 4.5-inch 720 x 1280p AH-IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen featuring accelerometer, compass, gyro and proximity sensors.

Measuring 133.9mm x 67.8mm x 10.4mm, the LG handset is powered by a 1.5GHz Scorpion dual core processor which should deliver smooth multitasking and an enhanced web browsing experience. It is equipped with an 8MP rear facing camera possessing features like auto focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, face and smile detection and 4x zoom. Users can capture videos in 1080p HD and conduct face to face video or web chats with the integrated 1.3MP front facing snapper.

Operating on a 1830mAh standard Li-ion battery, this newly launched smartphone is built for lending support to numerous connectivity options such as Bluetooth 3.0, 3G, EDGE, 4G LTE, GPRS, GSM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and USB 2.0. It offers users talk time and standby time of up to 7 hours and 10.8 days, respectively on a 3G network.

The Nitro HD lets users employ the 1GB RAM and 4GB internal memory that is incorporated with. And for storing more content, the memory can be expanded up to 32GB through the microSD card slot. It also comes with a pre-installed 16GB card. Weighing 127g, this mobile device lands integrated with support for Adobe Flash and HTML web browsing.

MobileBurn reports that the LG Nitro HD is now available at AT&T stores as well as online at wireless.att.com for a price of $249.99 along with a two-year contract.
