Announced last month, the LG Jil Sander E906 Windows Phone is now available online at Expansys. This news follows hot on the heels of the forthcoming Prada phone by LG 3.0 announcement which is another designer handset that the electronics manufacturer has created in collaboration with the high end fashion brand.
The newest designer phone to arrive in UK is a result of a partnership between LG and renowned German fashion designer, Jil Sander. The handset sports the designer’s signature on its body and operates on the new Windows Phone 7.5 OS. WPCentral states that the mobile phone is incorporated with 16GB of internal memory and is adorned with electric blue accents on the exterior as well as the internal frame. It boasts of a sleek and stylish appearance and lends support to the Internet Explorer 9 web browser.
With dimensions measuring 123mm x 61.5mm x 11.9mm, this Windows Phone runs on a 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor and is capable of lending support to a variety of connectivity options such as USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and DLNA. It lets users capture videos is 720p HD at 24fps through the embedded 5MP camera with auto focus and LED flash. Powered by a 1,400mAh battery, the LG device is equipped with a 3.8-inch 800 x 480p LCD capacitive WVGA touchscreen.
