Apart from the GM730, LG presented another Windows Mobile handset recently – the LG GW550. The GM730 is powered by a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional whereas the GW550 operates on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard.
The GW550 resembles the Nokia E71, which is one of the most popular Symbian smartphones of 2008-2009. It has the following specifications. It has Quad-band GSM connectivity and tri-band UMTS connectivity, 850/1900/2100 MHz. It possesses HSDPA 7.2Mbps and HSUPA 2.0Mbps. It sports a small 2.4-inch QVGA display and a full QWERTY keyboard. It is equipped with a 3MP camera and arrives with a 1,300 mAh battery. The device has dimensions of 116 x 61.5 x 12 mm and it can slip into ones’ pocket quite easily.
