T-Mobile rolls out the T-Mobile Dash 3G smartphone

T-Mobile Dash 3GA few days back we reported that T-Mobile would soon be introducing the new Dash 3G smartphone. Well, it is now confirmed and the powerful phone has officially launched. Operating on the company’s 3G network it offers speedy data delivery, Wi-Fi connectivity and Web browsing.

“As millions of families prepare to hit the road this summer, T-Mobile is offering our first 3G-enabled Windows Mobile smartphone to help customers stay connected, organized and traveling in the right direction,” commented Travis Warren, director, product marketing, T-Mobile USA. “We’re excited to offer the power and style of the T-Mobile Dash 3G with high-speed Internet access thanks to T-Mobile’s rapidly expanding 3G network,”

HTC is pleased to continue its long history of working closely with T-Mobile as we today introduce the next generation of the popular T-Mobile Dash,” mentioned Jason Mackenzie, vice president, HTC America.

Designed by HTC the handset is powered by Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 6.1 platform. It boasts of a sleek design, a dynamic display and a glossy-black finish with red accents. It also sports a large QWERTY keyboard and intuitive trackball navigation. Users can voice-call, text, synchronize and also email through Microsoft Outlook. They can use GPS for location based services.

The latest T-Mobile Dash 3G is expected to be in stores nationwide in July 2009 via T-Mobile retail stores.
