LG logoGeneration X would need to move on since the latest target audience for LG Electronics is Generation Z. The company has come up with a new series of handsets entitled LG Cookie series which will hit UK shelves by the month of September. Proffering a collection of vivaciously colored touchscreen phones, LG pulls out the Cookie, Cookie Style and Cookie 3G. The latest offering is apparently scheduled to enter Asia christened as LG Wink.

The company claims that these devices are well-suited for first time handset users or young consumers. It boasts about tailor making the handsets to offer flexible messaging features coupled with higher social networking support and improved music options. The Cookie Series comes with the ability to customize user-friendly interface and design in order to personalize it according to their desired tastes.

Messaging is made fun with innate and simple-to-operate virtual QWERTY keypad, which can be changed from portrait to landscape modes for suiting users’ needs. As quite a lot of today’s youth are obsessed with social networking sites, the phone endows them with an enhanced dedicated UI. Additionally, Generation Z can access a threaded view for convenient messaging as well as users can also connect through IM or email.

Loaded with a 3.5 jack, this series of phones enable music enthusiasts to enjoy all their tracks as well as FM radio. Sporting a two tones design, Cookie series offer a cartoon styled UI. All the three handsets from LG have the ability to support expandable memory. The LG Cookie, one of the three, is designed to be a compact phone with a 2.4” display. Thus, it can be easily carried in the user’s pocket or purse.

The LG Cookie style is fashioned with a bold look, a 2.8” display and comes in a wide palette of colors. With accents adorning its front buttons, this phone might appeal to the youth because of its trendy colors. LG Cookie 3G endows its users with data transmission and faster connectivity for staying online all the time. An important functionality of the phone is the superior e-mail feature which comes with push-delivery technology to immediately alert whenever emails are received.

The company has stated that they will be out in the UK by September, but LG has not disclosed the pricing details. It just mentions that the details will be announced closer to the launch date.
