The Lenovo Vibe Shot is set to be launched in India via a live streaming digital event which will take place on September 22 at 12pm. The camera-centric smartphone was announced in March this year at the Mobile World Congress.
The USP of the Lenovo Vibe Shot is its 16MP primary camera with OIS, tri-color flash and a six-piece modular lens. The company has equipped it with an infrared autofocus feature which is supposedly two times faster than normal ones. The BSI low-light sensor apparently ensures clear photos even at night. There’s also an 8MP snapper on the front surface of the device.
Moving on to other specs, the 4G-ready Vibe Shot flaunts a 5-inch IPS 1080p screen. It’s powered by an octa-core 64-bit 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor combined with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU. It houses 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.

The dual-SIM Lenovo handset packs a 2900mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Connectivity options consist of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB 2.0 and A-GPS. The phone measures 142 x 70 x 7.3mm in terms of dimension and weighs 145g. It comes in crimson, pearl white and graphite grey colors.

There’s no price or availability details for the Lenovo Vibe Shot out yet. The device retails for $349 abroad, so we expect it’ll sell for around Rs 20000 in India.
