Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga comes to India with three other Ultrabooks in tow

The Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga convertible has been launched in India and the Chinese company has also introduced some more ThinkPad Ultrabooks that go by the names of T440, T440s and X240s. They are priced at anywhere between Rs 78,000 and Rs 95,000.

First up is the Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga, a pretty flexible multimode device that can function as an Ultrabook as well as a tablet. You can use it in the laptop mode, tablet mode, stand mode or tent mode for different purposes like working, browsing the internet or watching videos. The device pre-loaded with Intel SBA platform, also has the Lift and Lock system to disable the keyboard in stand or tablet modes.

The ThinkPad T440 is a Windows 8-enabled 14-inch Ultrabook that comes in both touch and non-touch variants. It is powered by the fourth generation Intel Core processors and can provide as much as 1TB storage capacity. This notebook’s battery life is of more than 10 hours, claims Lenovo. As for the T440s, it has a carbon fiber top cover that makes it light as well as durable and is integrated with the Intel Core i5 processors. This laptop makes the most of the Windows 8 Pro OS.

And the last Ultrabook in the new series for India is the ThinkPad X240s which is said to be the thinnest and lightest in this range as it measures 17.65mm in thickness and tips the scales at 2.84lbs. The laptop is fitted with all the essential ports and is packed within a chassis made of carbon fiber. It even features a full HD IPS touchscreen and the latest Intel processors amongst other things.

The Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga has been priced at Rs 80,000, whereas the ThinkPad T440, T440s and X240s cost Rs 78,000, Rs 90,000 and Rs 95,000, respectively.
