LG G Flex to cost around Rs 60,000 in India, to be released in Feb next year

The LG G Flex has been officially launched in India at an event held in Delhi today and the smartphone was accompanied by another curved gadget that goes by the name of LG 55EA9800. The latter is nothing, but an OLED TV. For the smartphone, you may have to pay an amount that’s between Rs 60,000 and Rs 65,000, but the exact price is not known as of now. And as far as the TV is concerned, interested customers will have to part with Rs 9,99,000.

As you may already know, the G Flex is a curved smartphone that has a vertical arc and packs in a set of advanced features. Apart from South Korea, it has been launched in a few other regions including Hong Kong and Singapore and will soon be introduced in the US and parts of Europe. The device is pretty flexible and its back panel boasts of some self-healing properties that automatically get rid of scrapes and scratches.

On the front side of the smartphone, the company has fitted a 6-inch POLED touchscreen complete with the IPS technology along with a 2.1MP webcam, while the rear panel shows off a 13MP snapper. The Jelly Bean 4.2-based G Flex smartphone is equipped with a 2.26GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB memory and a curved 3500mAh LG Chem battery to name a few things.

The LG G Flex isn’t planning to go up for sale in India anytime before February 2014, but the LG 55EA9800 OLED TV can be purchased now.
