The most recent announcement from Konami is the release of the DanceDanceRevolution S game for the iPhone in North America. The game has been re-designed to complement the iPhone’s functionality. It will also allow gamers to use the iPhone’s accelerometer to the best of its ability.
The DanceDanceRevolution game involves three gameplay modes, Shake mode, Game mode and Training mode. Gamers can use the accelerometer to shake the device in the directions of the arrows in the Shake mode. Dancers can dance non-stop to the song of their choice and burn the dance floor with the Game mode.
Novice users can practice before they hit the dance floor, they can take basic lessons in the training mode. It will also allow users to grasp the tempo with various tools including the metronome.

With 26 songs and 18 characters, the addictive music game enables a user to take the role of any one character. It includes old as well as new sound tracks from past DDR titles.
