The Karbonn Titanium S7 which has appeared online in India for Rs 14,999, is the company’s second go at a full HD smartphone this month. In the first half of November, we were treated to the Titanium X with a 5-inch, 1920 x 1080p resolution touchscreen as well as a 1.5GHz quad core processor.
These two things are features the new Titanium S7 can boast of too. The handset runs on the Android Jelly 4.2 OS and most probably, 1GB of RAM. It has 16GB of hoarding space and a microSD card slot for taking it up to 32GB, if required.
The phone sticks to the trend of accommodating dual SIM cards here and there’s connectivity for 3G networks too. Although the battery capacity is not mentioned, 4 hours of talk time on 2G is all you may be able to squeeze out of it.
A 13MP camera with auto focus and flash is perched on the back panel and a 2MP one sits above the display. The asking price of the device is in keeping with the rate at which Karbonn usually pegs the Titanium series.
Its regular offerings generally cost below Rs 10,000. Online retailer Flipkart has the smartphone listed for pre-order currently. It’s expected to hit the market before we flick our calendars to the month of December.
