Adding to the weekly introductions of cheap Android phones is Karbonn which has put out yet another device in India, for sale on e-retail websites at a price of Rs. 6,590. This dual SIM device comes equipped with a dual core processor as well as a 5-inch screen, setting up direct rivalry with Micromax’s A72 Canvas Viva which went up on sale recently, tagged with a retail value of Rs. 6,999.
Apart from a lower price, the A25 wins in the OS department as well, for it proffers its potential buyers the Ice Cream Sandwich platform as opposed to the Viva’s Gingerbread OS. The Karbonn A25 is still to be made official in India by its manufacturer, but it’s available for purchase at around the aforesaid price through Infibeam and Saholic nonetheless, coupled with the respective e-retailers’ usual schemes.
