Jabra Sport and Sport-Corded headsets developed for active people

Jabra Sport And Sport-Corded HeadsetsIn an aim to widen its sports series, Jabra has announced two new headsets namely, Jabra Sport and Sport-Corded. They cater to people who indulge in sports, physical activities, adventures and exercises and come with or without cords.

These two latest headsets complete the Sporty product line of the company by joining the other devices, Jabra Active and Clipper. The company opines that people generally like to listen to their favorite tracks as well as talk on the phone while exercising and hence their two new offerings are apt for them. The wireless Bluetooth Jabra Sport allows users to enjoy music and receive calls while working out, sans the hassles of connecting an exerciser to their phone or music device with a wire.

This device integrates an FM radio, A2DP technology and seemingly strong bass for boosting users’ workout performance. Featuring easy-to-use controls, the stereo headset comes with a wind-shielded microphone and is US Military Standard rain, dust and shock resistant certified, making it suitable for outdoor rigorous sports as well.

It possesses a user-friendly behind-the-ear design and is accompanied by three pairs of eargels, to deliver a secure and comfortable fit. Along with this headset, users will also receive a free download of Endomondo Sports Tracker, which is a fitness tracking application for smartphones and a motivational tool for running, quick updates on speed, distance, and lap time. Through the app users can view past running routes on their smartphone via a GPS tracking feature. It is compatible with the iPhone, Android and BlackBerry handsets.

For those habituated to working out with traditional corded headphones, the Sport-Corded headsets offer smooth switching between music and phone calls. The device presents users with the same features that its new counterpart does, except that it comes with wires.

The Jabra Sport Bluetooth stereo headset will be available at Apple, Sprint and T-Mobile stores for a price of $99, while the Sport-Corded has been priced at $69. Both products can also be bought online at Amazon.
