The iPhone app has undergone considerable changes in terms of privacy like the incorporation of additional controls for sharing, which resemble the settings on the original website. It now allows tagging friends as well as places in posts and messages. Apart from this, users can even share external links from a web view. Also, the updates include certain setting changes for new and efficient designs of the group and profile walls.

Of all these updates, the most significant appears to be the company’s claim about having taken care of several bug problems. These include Photo bugs, disappearance of the notification bar, Chat bugs, and some more. With the introduced updates, the company also says that the app will deliver better stability and enhanced overall performance. Apart from this, it has also made arrangements for developed notification speeds and convenient use of the sharing tool.

Along with these developments, there are also rumors of Facebook retracting a similar app for the iPad which was initially in the making. The new Facebook for iPhone 3.5 can be downloaded directly from iTunes.
