The iPhone 5 Verizon price and release date information has arrived so soon after the sixth generation handset went live at the Apple event. Following months of speculation, fans in the US can finally lay their hands on the device that’s expected to operate on the carrier’s 4G LTE network.

Advertised as the thinnest and lightest phone ever, the new Apple cookie is equipped with a 4-inch Retina display and an A6 processor. It is embedded with an 8MP iSight snapper with features such as panorama and HD video recording. The entire show is brought to life by the newly disclosed iOS 6 OS. Features include a new Maps app, Passbook organization, Facebook integration, enhanced Siri features and language support.

“Customers come to Verizon Wireless for a premier wireless experience, and iPhone 5 combined with our 4G LTE network is an outstanding combination. The availability of our 4G LTE network means customers get the reliability they value and the technology they need, regardless of where they roam on our network,” remarked Dan Mead, Verizon Wireless CEO.

Customers can also tie up with the carrier’s Share Everything Plan that starts at $40 per month and $50 monthly account access that offers unlimited messages, talk time, pictures, videos and a data plan that’s sharable with up to 10 devices on a single line. Verizon is offering FaceTime over Cellular for the iPhone 5 as part of any data scheme.

As we’ve already mentioned, the iPhone 5 Verizon price is $199.99 for the 16GB capacity, while the 32GB and 64GB variants are tagged at $299.99 and $399.99, respectively. It is slated to commence shipping on September 21. Pre-orders will begin on September 14, that’s tomorrow.
