The Intex Cloud X1+ and Cloud Y11 have been launched in India at Rs 2990 and Rs 4490, respectively. These two smartphones are aimed at the low-end market for Android devices, as their prices clearly indicate. So those who are looking to upgrade from a feature phone or just want a cheap backup device may be slightly interested in their specifications.
The Cloud X1+ has some very uninviting features starting with a single core processor clocked at 1GHz and just 128MB of RAM as well as internal memory amounting to 256MB only. One of its most disappointing specs is the version of Android it runs – the thoroughly outdated Gingerbread 2.3.5 OS.
The smartphone has a 3.5-inch HVGA display on the front and a 2MP camera on the back. It delivers GSM as well as Wi-Fi connectivity and no 3G support. But you still get to juggle with 2 numbers if you wish, thanks to its dual SIM slots. Lastly, a 1250mAh battery powers it for an unmentioned number of hours.
Next comes the Intex Cloud Y11, an Android Jelly Bean handset with a 4-inch screen. It works with the help of 256MB RAM and a 1GHz dual core chipset. The device has 512MB of onboard space for storing content, and provides support for 3G and Wi-Fi. It has a 2MP rear camera and a VGA one on the front. The full list of specs is jotted below.
