India’s wait for the new Nexus 7 just got a bit easier

The second-generation Google Nexus 7, the US launch of which took place in July this year is soon to make its way into India, according the Mountain View company. The search giant’s official page for the tablet has been updated with the image we’ve posted below, indicating that its launch is right around the corner. Stated on the site is the fact that whenever it’s out, this slate will be sold through retails as well as via the Google Play store.

No price or release date details have been revealed as yet, but eager consumers can sign up on the website through their email ids for quick updates. This new version of Google’s Nexus 7 experience is highlighted by the fact that it runs the Android 4.3 OS right out of the box, granting buyers the benefits of functions like easier text input, support for Bluetooth Smart, additional languages and much more.

The 7-inch display of this tablet showcases its visuals with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, and is covered by scratch resistant Corning glass protection. A 5MP rear camera has been granted to the new Nexus 7 apart from a 1.2MP front snapper. Its 3950mAh battery is capable enough to keep it going for up to 9 hours. Running the show from within is a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor which is accompanied by a 400MHz Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB worth of RAM.
