Spice Pinnacle Stylus HD is officially priced at Rs 15,999

Remember the Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 which was listed online last week? Well, Spice has now taken off the wraps, making its HD phablet official for India. The device is officially tagged at Rs 15,999 which is slightly more than what retailer Saholic was asking (Rs 15,499). However, the device is also available for purchase through Flipkart at Rs 15,490.

The handset falls in the Pinnacle lineup which comprises of the Mi-530, the FHD Mi-525 and the Pro Mi-535. The Stylus will go up against the Note series from Samsung, LG’s latest G Pro Lite which is slated to arrive in India soon for around Rs 20,000 and the Canvas Doodle 2 from Micromax. The Pinnacle Stylus sports a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen that’s capable of delivering visuals in 1280 x 720 pixels.

When the device showed up online last week, there was no mention of a digitizer pen being included, albeit that’s isn’t the case as the phone does have a stylus which sadly, doesn’t seem to have any special functionality. Coming to the design, the phone measures 160mm x 79mm x 9.5mm and it weighs 155 grams. As is with most budget-friendly phones, this one has dual SIM support too.

The Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 is powered by a quad core 1.2GHz processor and it runs on Android 4.2. There’s 8GB of flash storage, a microSD card slot for expansion, 1GB of RAM and a 2500mAh battery. Users will have an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and 1080p recording as well as a 2MP front webcam.

The Spice Pinnacle Stylus is only available in a single shade, white.
