Karbonn seems to have gone all out in its bid to cash in on the festive season, for the company has launched a total of four new Android handsets which all have their prices locked under the Rs 7,500 mark. All these smartphones are dual SIM capable, and are being marketed as perfect gifting options for the season.
First among them is the Karbonn A16 which features a 4-inch WVGA display garnering a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and a 1.3GHz dual core processor. It carries onboard 512MB worth of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage as well as a microSD card slot supporting 32GB of added storage. This phone runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, and kicks in a 5MP camera. It has been priced at Rs 6,490.
The Karbonn A99 is also an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean device running on a 1.3GHz dual core processor and 512MB of RAM. It grabs 4GB of inbuilt storage apart from an expansion slot. A 1400mAh battery powers it from within. Karbonn has revealed the price of this smartphone to be Rs 6,590.
Next is the Karbonn A35 which is the priciest among the four, at Rs 7,490. This handsets carries on it a 5-inch qHD IPS display, a 1GHz dual core processor and 512MB of RAM, but it runs the Android Ice Cream sandwich OS for some reason. 4GB of inbuilt storage, a microSD card slot, a 5MP rear snapper, a 2MP front camera and a 1800mAh battery make up for its other offerings.
The Karbonn A90 is a 4-inch IPS display-equipped device, and is the cheapest among the lot. It features a 1GHz processor, 512MB worth of RAM, a 5MP camera and the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. Its price has been revealed to be Rs 5,490.
