The iberry Auxus Prime P8000 has been announced by the company and is the result of a collaboration with China-based Elephone. The handset will be up for sale exclusively via Snapdeal. The white version comes with a Rs 14990 price tag while the limited edition gold color costs Rs 15990.
Elephone clarified that the handset is near-identical to its original Chinese variant and is basically a customized version for the Indian market with the ability to support 4G bands in the country. The iberry Auxus Prime P8000 has decent specs for a mid-range phone and should pose a threat to other Chinese devices in the market.
The Auxus Prime P8000 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It contains a huge 4165mAh non-removable battery which promises to deliver up to 21 hours of talk time and 268 hours of standby time. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 1.3GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, coupled with an ARM Mali-T720 GPU.

The dual-SIM iberry handset sports a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a Samsung sensor. Selfies are taken through a 5MP secondary camera. Its fingerprint scanner is located on the back and boasts 360-degree Touch ID. In terms of memory, the phone has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM, expandable up to 128GB via microSD.
