We’re seeing a lot of new contenders in the mid-range phablet market and the iberry Auxus Beast is yet another addition to this category. The new smartphone comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, giving it the upper hand over most of the competition and it also has an affordable price tag of Rs 13990.
Mainly, devices like the Redmi Note 4G, Huawei Honor 4X and Infcous M330 from Chinese OEMs will be feeling the heat. The iberry Auxus Beast stays true to its name to a certain extent as it comes with some pretty beefy hardware onboard. The phone is amongst the few releases in India to have a 64-bit octa core processor and the SOC of choice here is the 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 with Mali 760 graphics.
And complementing the latest processor is Android 5.0 Lollipop which comes out of the box. If that’s not enough, iberry has also thrown in a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel LCD touchscreen along with a protective coating of Gorilla Glass from Corning. Accompanying the display on the front is an 8MP selfie camera, while the rear has a 13MP shooter and an LED flash.

Additionally, the Auxus Beast offers dual SIM support and takes things a bit further through 4G LTE connectivity as well. There’s also HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi b/g/n onboard. Other features here include 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 3050mAh battery.
