HTC Zara press shot, specifications leaked, arriving in Q4 2013

The HTC Zara that seems to be a hybrid between phones from the Taiwanese company’s One and Desire lineups, has showed up on the web in its full glory. Along with the press shot, the HTC smartphone’s specifications have also come to light and we must say that it looks impressive.

The picture has surfaced through the @evleaks Twitter account which has successfully pulled the covers of multiple gadgets before they were unveiled officially. Also it should be noted that the press shot has a watermark of @Urbanstrata, and the person to whom the Twitter handle belongs, is the online communications manager of the OEM. But he has refused to let out details and tweeted that HTC doesn’t comment on rumors and speculation.

Let’s take a look at the features that the HTC Zara is supposed to tag along. For starters, the device serves a generous helping of the Android Jelly Bean 4.3 OS, garnished with the Sense 5.5 UI. Apparently, its front panel is mainly dominated by a 4.5-inch touchscreen capable of rendering qHD visuals and the rear side plays host to an 8MP camera.

And what’s more, an MSM8930 processor with two cores, each of them clocking in a speed of 1.2GHz, is said to have been integrated for maintaining smooth multitasking. You may find an entire gigabyte of RAM as well as 8GB of onboard storage along with an expansion slot to increase it further with the help of a microSD card. Additionally, the handset employs a 2100mAh battery as well.

Rumor has it that the HTC Zara will be released sometime in the fourth quarter of this year.
