Despite receiving an official recognition in India, the Videocon A42 has yet to make its presence felt through any of the major online shopping outlets. Videocon has crafted the device with a 4.5-inch touch display, across which users can view pictures and videos at a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.

Running Android 4.2.2 out of the box, the Videocon A42 nabs a dual core processor ticking at a clock speed of 1.2GHz. Catering to users’ imaging needs is a 5MP camera resting on the phone’s rear panel, featuring an LED flash, while a 1.3MP webcam has been fitted on the face to facilitate live video conferences.
