HTC unleashes Hero and Tattoo with HTC Sense in Australia

Hero And Tattoo HTC launches Hero and Tattoo integrated with the innovative HTC Sense technology in Australia. This technology emphasizes on personalization with three major principles Make it Mine, Stay Close and Discover the Unexpected.

HTC Sense technology focuses on Make it Mine that helps in personalizing mobile phones. HTC Sense integrates several communication channels and applications into one single view that enables users to keep in touch with their loved ones.

They are the manifestation of HTC’s research and observations of human communication interactions and needs, joining a family of HTC phones designed specifically around user specifications.”

The HTC Hero comes with a ground-breaking design along with angled edges and bottom that make it comfortable to hold while talking on the phone. The HTC Hero also offers an anti-fingerprint screen coating for smoother smudge resistance and enduring, brighter display.

Its 3.2-inch HVGA display is ideal for viewing Web, multimedia and other content. For capturing crystal clear images, the handset comes with a 5 mega-pixel autofocus camera. The Hero supports GPS, digital compass, gravity-sensor, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and expandable microSD memory. A dedicated Search button allows users to search through Twitter, locate others in the contact list, find emails in the inbox and more.

The HTC Tattoo combines several communication medium and applications that include voice calls, emails, texts, photos and status updates in one view to offer rich mobile experience. The Tattoo is sleek and compact that can easily slip in the pocket. It equips 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and expandable microSD memory. Users can also customize the look of their phone. By shelling out AUD29.90, users can design and purchase a stylish cover or browse through several classy designs from Garskin.

HTC Tattoo also houses several Google mobile services which include Google Maps, search, Google Mail. Users can also access thousands of innovative applications and games available at the Android Market.

For the immediate launch period, the HTC Hero and Tattoo are available exclusively from Harvey Norman, a mass retail partner for these devices. Other retail distribution channels for HTC Hero and Tattoo will be announced in future. Users can purchase HTC Hero for a RRP of AUD$799 and the Tattoo for a RRP of AUD$599.
