The HTC Hero has been recently spotted for the first time in the UK on the Orange UK website. However, the website states that the phone is coming soon and has not revealed when exactly.
Engadget iMobile reports that the device will be available free of charge on incredible price plans. Probably, customers who sign an 18 month contract will be able to obtain this phone for free. The HTC Hero smartphone is still undergoing tests by the company.
T-Mobile may also follow in the footsteps of Orange UK and unveil their version of the HTC Hero with a full subsidy soon. Rumors state that they are going to call it the G1 Touch.
Only the graphite edition of the phone is going to be offered by the both carriers. Those who want to purchase the white Teflon-coated HTC Hero will have to look elsewhere.
