The HTC Desire 600, a dual SIM phone that was introduced back in May this year, has landed on some shopping portals in India with the price but without any official notice. An e-retailer who has listed the HTC device on its web portal claims to ship it within 4 days after the order is placed.
This gadget seems like a contender that can give stiff competition to all the quad core smartphones available in the subcontinent for budget-friendly amounts as the HTC Desire 600 acquires steam from a processor with four cores. Its Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset is capable of clocking in a speed of 1.2GHz and brings 1GB of DDR2 RAM for company.
A 4.5-inch qHD multi-touch display shares the front panel with a 1.6MP webcam, an accelerometer and sensors to detect proximity as well as ambient light. On flipping the handset, users will notice an 8MP auto focus snapper perched alongside an LED flash. The device brings a BSI sensor, a dedicated ImageChip and a 28mm lens to capture good-quality images and it goes without saying that the shooter can be utilized for the purpose of recording videos as well.
Additionally, it can also keep users entertained while on the run, thanks to the Beats Audio technology and BoomSound with frontal stereo speakers and built-in amplifiers. The Desire 600 can be purchased via Saholic for a price of Rs 26,860. Snapdeal is yet to decide an asking price for the handset.
