Handheld Europe unveiled a new rugged mobile phone, dubbed the Nautiz X5. The versatile phone is capable of delivering high–end features in a small but rugged package.
The Nautiz X5 has the ability to withstand the harsh environments. An IP65 rated, the phone is dust and water resistant so you can carry this phone anywhere. Moreover the tough phone can withstand drop from a 1.8m and weighs only 410 grams. The phone operates on wide range of temperatures (-20°C to 55°C).
The Nautiz X5 phone features a 3.5 inch VGA TFT LCD screen with a numeric keypad and optional QWERTY keypad as well. The phone runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system and is powered by a high speed 806 MHz Xscale processor. The phone boasts of a 512 MB Flash memory and 256MB RAM making it one of the most powerful PDAs in market.

The phone incorporates a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus. The Nautiz X5 phone integrates a high quality laser scanner that is capable of reading all common barcodes and a 2-D imager as an option.
For better interoperability, the Nautiz X5 phone equips 802.11b/g WLAN with CCX certification. The phone packs in SiRF star III GPS chip with InstantFix I I technology that offers better navigation functions and can even locate your position in a matter of seconds.
The Nautiz X5 phone is wrapped with various other features such as Bluetooth connectivity, support for microSD card slot, 4400 mAh powerful battery, speaker and microphone.
