For all brand conscious tech enthusiasts with bundles of spare cash stashed away, the Gresso Regal Black seems fancy enough to take a look at. The elegantly designed handset is ready to expand the company’s Avantgarde collection which already boasts of the Grand Premiere, released in December last year.
The design of the Gresso Regal Black takes inspiration from marine and speed themes and its chassis sports a striking similarity to the shape of yachts. Unlike regular phones with a rectangular framework and a flat bottom, this one shows off many faces and has been cut out to draw attention to its silhouette. The lower end has been tailored with a ‘V’, supposedly to resemble the bow of a marine vessel.
The device is made to flaunt one-piece detailing, which is a first for Gresso handsets. This one is mainly composed of a solid titanium slab sculpted with high-precision equipment to carve out its interesting geometrical frame. The final product has only 9 percent of the originally employed metal quantity. Furthermore, this is polished off with a coat of black PVD on the surface for additional protection. It also creates a rough mat metal texture effect.
The front and rear panels of the luxury gadget have been finished with tempered mineral glass featuring tinting technology. This lends a rich black hue to the glass, making it a better fit in the Regal series. To survive extreme conditions, the keys are made from a type of steel. Operating on the Symbian S40 mobile platform, the device weighs 130 grams and the dimensions measure 121 x 46 x 12 millimeters, while a 2MP camera can be spotted on the flip side.
The Gresso Regal Black price can be mentioned as one of the most attention grabbing factors about it. Expected to be made available in April, it will set buyers back by approximately $5,000. Only 333 pieces will be part of the edition, which can be ordered through the company’s website or authorized dealers.
