The official Google Mobile blog announces an updated Google Mobile Application for the iPhone. With new features added to the array, this software is expected to make users’ life much simpler, quicker and up-to-date.

Mobile aficionados can now find push notifications for new emails from their Google accounts as an icon badge. Moreover, the Google Mobile Application even displays Google Calendar event reminders on the homescreen. The blog reveals that a few more attributes have been added for users to access information really quickly. As they hunt for currency conversion, stock quotes flight info or weather, the app will apparently find answers before users even hit on ‘Search’.

iPhone owners must keep in mind that they shall only receive sound/vibration notification and pop-up messages for calendar alerts. Also, the new emails obtained are displayed with the help of unread count present on the software in the apps tab. Users, can switch on notifications by going to the app’s Settings menu and clicking on the Google Accounts panel.

The updated version of the Google Mobile Application can now be availed from the App Store.
