Google forgot to launch official Chromecast support forum for users, it’s thankfully live now

Google’s Chromecast is by far not amongst the company’s most well known products, but that doesn’t mean users didn’t need a forum dedicated just for it. Mountain View has thankfully got around to launching a forum (link posted below) to help out users who get stuck while trying to set it up or have other problems with it.

What is Chromecast?

Chromecast is a media player device which looks like a regular pen-drive. If your TV cannot be connected to the internet, you’re obviously not going to be able to stream content onto it from the web. Now Google’s little stick will allow users to watch online videos, be a part of video conferences, play locally stored content and more, on their HDTVs.

The device costs just $35. It connects to a TV via HDMI and you will need to keep it powered through its microUSB end. Until now, Google hadn’t put up any official corner where users could complain about the hardware not working or the setup process being difficult. Well, the Chromecast support forum is here.

The main page offers links to frequently asked questions, the apps available for the media player and so on. Threads connected to user queries can be sorted depending on their category or date. Or you could just start a new thread, as Android Police suggests.

Hopefully, Google will charge a couple or more minions with the task of answering some of these questions occasionally, if not promptly. Like we promised, here’s the link to the official Chromecast forum.
